Most people trying to break into DevOps start with a certification and end up with a certificate that says they can define a term, not run a system. This path exists for the opposite reason. You'll spend your time in a terminal, not a slide deck: provisioning real Linux servers, tracing a request across a real network, and packaging an application the way a production team would.
